General Information
- Fabric Flaws – Something Sew Unique will not assume responsibility for customer’s flawed fabric. Please inspect prior to our receiving the fabric if at all possible. Any flawed fabrics received in drop shipments are the responsibility of the customer and/or supplier.
- Please ship all fabrics to us pre-paid and rolled on tubes. Pressing charges will be incurred should fabric be received wrinkled or folded. NOTE: Sheets and pre-made panels will always require pressing.
- When calculating fabric widths on panels, one width equals a cut of fabric, regardless of how the fabric cut is – i.e. ¼ or ½ a width of fabric is costed as a full width (1.5 width panel = 2 widths for pricing purposes)
Standard Specifications
Draperies
- Headings are four-inch, double folded, using a heavy weight 4” buckram unless otherwise specified.

- Covered lead weights are inserted at seams and in the corners of drapery panels at no extra charge.
- Interlinings and blackout linings are finished with a serged edge at the bottom.
- Standard linings will be finished with a top stitched double two inch hem at the bottom.
- Draperies of different lengths made of a patterned fabric will be pattern matched at the top, unless otherwise specified. Plaids cannot be matched at both top and bottom. Please specify which you prefer.
